The building is located in Thongmu Roung village, six miles from Taunggyi city, the capital of Shan State, Myanmar. The land is 200 X 70 feet which SHAN has purchased for K50 million which money came from our collective and well-earned funds. For the building construction, we are going to raise the balance K400 million from the public.
The building will be the first SHAN office. There will be a 3-story building which the design has been drawn, without asking for compensation, by the well-known “Pounamu” Bamboo-Design Construction. Here are some graphic illustrations of what it will look like.
